About
What is it?
A case competition focused on real strategic business needs. Last year, the case dealt with GE’s Healthymagination initiative.
An opportunity to develop a strategic commercial solution. You will have to determine how your solution will work in the real world - Is it sustainable? Profitable? Executable?
Delivering the needs of tomorrow while focusing on the talent of today.
Why are we doing it?
Talent Pipeline: GE wants to know you beyond your resume. The competition offers the opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to learn more about GE and the ECLP program.
Business Solutions: GE and ECLP are both all about addressing challenging issues with innovative thinking. We want you to challenge the status quo to provide a unique, real, actionable, and commercially viable solution.
How is it happening?
Early Rounds: 4 regional competitions will take place in September and October with 5-6 teams competing in each. The 1 winning team from each regional round will advance to the Finals.
Final Round: The 4 regional winners will meet in NYC November 16 - 18 to face off in the Finals. In addition, they will have the chance to interview, network with current members of ECLP and GE, and attend an evening of dinner and a keynote speaker.
What’s in it for You?
Executive Exposure: Not only will the judging panels will be comprised of Senior Leaders from GE, but you will also have the chance to meet them at dinner and other networking events.
Interviewing, Networking: You will have an opportunity to interview for an ECLP Summer Associate (intern) position, as well as meet current ECLPs and alums who can give you the inside scoop on the program and what it’s like from the inside.
